Concept:
The concept we have developed is based on the phrase ‘out with a bang’. This communicates that all of the studies have reached their climatic ending, and the sense of spectacle the show will deliver. We have followed up with a tag line ‘it starts here’ as this is the end of education but it is just the beginning for all graduates.
This is a concept that me and Lizzi had previously discussed and both felt that it had potential. Mike liked the concept and greta got excited about blowing things up. We want the visuals to be really powerful and full of impact as that is how we feel the show should be portrayed. Everyone has worked very hard on this show and I think the promotional material should also mimic this. From talking things over we have decided that the best thing and thing that is most associated with things going bang is a balloon. A balloon also works as it is a good symbol of celebration.
