TRM : audience and context


Audience:

The target audience will be generally people who are interested in art, illustration and print. They may have an interest in buying bespoke artwork, or may be a person who runs a business where they sell artwork online or in a shop. It will be appropriate for both male and females age range 16-80. 

Context:


The context for where Tom’s prints would ideally be sold would be art’s shops such as Leeds local Colours may vary and Village book shop. Other possibilities would be online such as London print club. These are examples of places Tom’s promotional item would be sent. A personal online shop for Tom is also where his work will be sold. 


Another context where Toms work will be seen will be online. By targeting online shops / blogs / websites of the likes of it's nice that and showcasing Tom's work to them it will be a way to create an online presence for tom and with that will come exposure to his work.

Another way of promoting Tom would be through the act of hosting an exhibition at a gallery or locating a cafe that regulary exbhitis artists work.

By taking into account all three of theses context I should be able to develop a concept that will encompass all way to promote Tom across these platforms
